1992 Rose Bowl #2 Washington vs #4 Michigan No Huddle

What ever happened to draws and screen passes? Also, James with the Petersen-like decision to punt from the Michigan 40 on the first drive.

I thought Elvis was going to die a couple of tims.

I would have fired Don James

I would have fired Don James

at halftime on the 50-yard line of the Rose Bowl

I gave my tickets away to the boss because as a boomer I wanted to watch the defining event on TV

After the game I told the family that I'd never criticize James again. He'd done it

Only had to keep the pledge for a year as it turned out

Good reminder of how frustrating Gilbertson's offense could be. There were a lot of slow starts. Actually most games were.

13-7 midway through the 3rd quarter

But people forget this was a GOOD Michigan team

Never even a shadow of a doubt

A historic defense in that age will do that

Basically my entire outcome in life was based on this football game.

Do they row in Michigan?

Not really. They are a club team only for men. Only @Mad_Son and @PurpleBaze do serious rowing in the mid west.

But when UW won the Natty, I committed fully. No one else even got a hat on the table except for Montana sneaking in late the game.
