1969 and 1984 were determined to be the two best years for music

Someone must have gotten confused. Master of Puppets didn't come out until 1986.

1965 is the greatest year in music history. 2nd place is probably a 4 way tie between 66, 67, 69 and 71.

Pretty sure The Cult Love tour was in 85 or 86... I saw it live in Seattle.

That tops anything that happened in 1984.

I was at that Paramount show, too! It was May of 1986....my freshman year @ Udub.
The Phoenix was the best song live from The Love Tour.

Here is a little something from Ian’s earlier days in SDC:

For jazz the year was 1959. Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, Dave Brubeck's Time Out and John Coltrane's Giant Steps.

But only Yella and I would care about that.

Rather easily.

I still have my Electric poster rolled up in the garage somewhere. Does anyone here own that black boxed set the Cult put out years ago?

Love and Electric are both good albums. I saw the Cult twice - once they were opening for Metallica in 1989, and then I saw them when they did the Electric 13 tour. They put on a great live show. Having Metallica come on after you is a good way to look like a half-assed shit band, but they held their own as I recall.
